For many, the idea of a “healthy lifestyle” revolves around eating fewer carbs, more protein and hitting the gym. For others, it means lowering your carbon footprint and limiting your use of plastics. In reality, however, leading a truly healthy lifestyle, would include a lot more things!

The choice is yours!

First and foremost, you need to be able to make a choice, stick with it. Not because of a promise, not for the sake of someone else, but of your own volition. You have to be able to evaluate your current situation and decide that you do indeed need a change. Not only that, but you need to enjoy the idea. Your lifestyle choice should bring you happiness and excitement. Only when all of the factors are present will you truly be able to turn a greener leaf!

We’re Antoaneta and Dayana – the eco-minded mother and daughter duo behind the Healthy Lifeside project! Firm believers in self-help and self-improvement, we’re entirely convinced that a healthy life constitutes of much more than merely following a certain diet or exercise plan. To put it plainly – a healthy life is a happy life. If you truly wish to be happy and successful, you need to take control of the circumstances, instead of allowing them to control you. And we’re going to show you just how to do that!

You need at least a basic understanding of how nature (and your body) works, on why things impact us in the way they do, and why people make certain choices. This understanding will not only give you a head-start on your wellness journey, but it will also help you gain a greater appreciation for the world around you.

    Our goal with this website is to provide help, advice and inspiration to everyone looking to improve their life. We’ll be sharing a variety of actionable tips, tricks and ideas, accessible to everyone. Now is also probably a good time to mention that not everything will work for everyone. Similar as we might be, we’re still individual people, with different backgrounds, habits and ideas. What works for us right now, might not work for you. As a matter of fact, it might not even work for us in the near future! Leading a healthy and fulfilling life is not a race. It’s not even a marathon. It’s a lifelong transformative journey.

    We’ve got a wide variety of topics that we’d like to cover in mind, but we’ll also give you a chance to voice your ideas and opinions as well! Every month, we’ll aim to feature at least one post, related to your questions and comments!
