Pineapples are berries that are very easy to eat!

All fruits, vegetables, and berries were once flowers on plants. Pineapples, on the other hand, start with a bunch of thick and waxy grass blades that grow through a joint root. A few beautiful flowers, in colours red, purple, or lavender, will start to grow. As many as 200 flowers are gathered together on each plant. They will develop into a single berry later on and those berries will combine to form the pineapple. A pineapple fruit can take as long as three years to fully grow.

A pineapple’s outer skin, which look like scales, is actually berries that merged together as they grew and ripened. Its unique outer layer is the reason behind its name. Pineapples were discovered around 1664 by European explorers in South America. During that time, pine cones were called pineapples. Their name was changed into pine cones in 1694 and the name of pineapple was given to the fruit, which takes on the role up until this day.

How To Eat A PineapplePineapples are full of vitamins and nutrients. They are filled with vitamin C, which can ease the symptom of a common cold. They contain antioxidants and an enzyme called bromelain, which aids in digestion. When cooking, you can use pineapple juice to soften the meat and to give it a uniquely sweet taste.

Pineapples, are bestselling fruits that are slow to grow but can live up to 50 years. They can grow roots in any of its separate part like its sliced top. However, they grow well only in places that have high amounts of moisture and warm sunlight.

One incorrect notion that many people have about pineapple is that they can ripen them more at home. Keep in mind that pineapples stay as they were when they were harvested. That means looking at their colour when shopping for a pineapple makes no difference as there will be no difference in taste.
